In My Mailbox #9

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme created by Kristi from The Story Siren as a way to share the books you received over the past week whether for review, purchase, or borrow.
Purchased:
Wither - by Lauren DeStefano
Goddess Interrupted - by Aimee Carter

Borrowed:

Graceling - by Kristin Cashore

I have a lot to look forward to reading this week! I’m very excited to read Graceling for the first time because I always hear such great things about the series.
Also, I am currently hosting the blog’s very first giveaway, so if you are interested in winning a pre-order copy of Cassandra Clare’s City of Lost Souls you can find that HERE.
What’s in your mailbox this week?

  1. Oh, you got Wither! Gosh, I still have to read this series. Everyone's always raving about it, so it makes me even more intrigued about the book. I have to see for myself if it's as good as they say :) I also got The Goddess Test last week! I don't know if I'll like it, but mythology is something I always look forward to.

OMG, Graceling! I read it not long ago and I LOVED it! I hope you like it as much as I did :)

    Happy reading~

  2. Great mailbox! Wither is good, I hope you enjoy it! I'm in the middle of reading Fever right now. I need to start The Goddess Test books, I've heard so many good things about them! I still haven't read any Kristin Cashore books, but I should, since I know a lot of people love them. Enjoy your reads! (I've said this before, but I just love your blog, it's so beautiful!)

  5. I have Wither but I haven't read it yet mysteriously. I should probably get on that, and then I have The Goddess Test, too. I mean, I'm way behind on my reading clearly. Enjoy your goodies!

  12. Graceling is AMAZING! I absolutely love it. Unfortunately I wasn't a huge fan of the prequel, Fire. But the new book is coming out soon and hopefully that will be better!

  14. Ooh, I just got a copy of Graceling as well. I've not had the chance to read it yet (and probably not for a while), but I'm excited to get into it when I do. Can't wait to see what you think of it!

Thanks for stopping by...following you :).

  15. So I just commented on another IMM post with Wither and I'm saying the same thing: It's totally on my to-read list now! Seeing the summary made me want to get it. I'd like to get The Goddess Test (and afterwards, Goddess Interrupted) sometime, too; what do you think? I'm a really big Greek mythology fan so I don't know if I'll be happy with a different look at it but if you think it's worth a try, I'll go for it!

Enjoy those two and Graceling. I've heard great things about Kristin Cashore and that book in particular! Love your choices this week, Darlene, and have a great time reading them all!
